Questions to Ask When Booking Bali Day Tours

Based on our experience, here are some key questions travelers should ask when booking day trips in Bali:

1. What is included (and not included) in the tour price?
   Lower-priced tours offer great value but will usually be group tours in a minibus, which is not always shown in photos, so clarify this if you are wanting a private car and driver tour. Some tours appear cheap but do not include meals, such as lunch or snacks.

2. What languages do your guides speak?
   Most tour guides will speak at least basic English, but some have better English or speak other languages, including Japanese, French, German, and Russian. If you have a special language need, request this when booking.

3. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
   We choose to recommend tour partners that offer cancellations within 24 hours of the tour to give us ultimate flexibility. Be careful when booking on the street because if you need to cancel, you usually cannot get a refund but will be offered an alternative date, which may not be possible with your schedule.

4. Does the tour offer any flexibility to stop along the way?
   Group tours generally do not offer much flexibility, whereas a private tour will often allow stopping at other points of interest you pass along the way.
