For example, we use AI to learn what is important to readers planning a trip to Bali and Lombok, to analyze vast amounts of data and visitor feedback, and to research facts and insights that we share with you.
For example, instead of reading hundreds of reviews to decide if a waterfall is worth visiting, read our review, and you’ll find our insights and tips, together with a summary of recent travelers views, to help you decide.
Our mission is to bring you deep dives into the best of Bali, Lombok, and their islands. Best of all, Baligram is free to use, so enjoy!
About affiliate links, our sponsors and our recommendations
Baligram is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn affiliate commissions at no cost to you.
Baligram's mission is to recommend what really matters for an awesome Bali and Lombok holiday. We focus on the natural wonders of these amazing islands, rather than commercial businesses.
We strive to be the most interesting and informative source for finding extraordinary and fun experiences on Bali and Lombok. We work with total editorial independence.
We only recommend experiences we believe you will enjoy, and we try our best to describe them in a way that is truthful, accurate, and enticing.
We earn money with advertisements and by recommending travel essentials to our readers—the things you need for a great holiday like travel insurance, visa services, travel accessories, and more. However, we always recommend these products and services based on our own experiences, opinions, testing where possible, and assessments.
We have no motivation to select subpar items or yield to service or manufacturer demands; on the contrary, we are discouraged from doing so. If a consumer returns a product due to dissatisfaction or a faulty recommendation, we do not earn any affiliate commissions. This seems to us like an equitable system that ensures our primary commitment to serving our readers. Moreover, we base our selection of products on editorial and product testing criteria and not on any affiliate agreements or advertising arrangements.
Our reviews and recommendations take weeks or months of research and years of experience traveling to Bali and Lombok and writing about travel. We recommend the things we do and use to our family and friends, as well as to our readers. If we recommend that you spend your hard-earned money on something, we take it as seriously as if our own money were on the line.
Reader trust is our lifeline, and we try to get our facts correct every time. If we make a mistake, please let us know, and we will make the correction quickly.
We don't just want your input; we need it to improve, so please reach out.
